SIMON GITARI LOIYAPUS

Simon joined the scholarship program in January 2023 in his first year of study at Technical University of Mombasa where he was undertaking a Bachelor of Technology in Information and Communication Technology until December 2023. Simon was successfully recruited by the Kenya Defense Forces to train at the position of an Army Cadet, a very honorable position, and an extraordinary opportunity. He has deferred his studies to give him time to complete his training with the intention of resuming his studies as soon as the Army gives him leave to do so.

Simon, who comes from a large family of eleven was born and lives in Segera ward, in Laikipia North Sub-County, Laikipia County. He is an outstanding young man who has shown leadership and determination to succussed.

On joining the foundation he said, “the scholarship will help me achieve my academic goals, become a better member of the society supporting other needy members of society.”
