SAINI LESEKETETI

Saini joined the scholarship program in September 2023 as a first-year student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics and is expected to complete her studies in April 2027 and graduate later in the same year.

She was born in Sipili village, Ol Moran Ward, Laikipia West and Pois village in Segera Ward, Laikipia North Sub-County, Laikipia County

Saini comes from a polygamous family consist of 17 siblings. At a younger age, I assisted my parents in herding cattle, collecting water and firewood. She is passionate about reading and dancing.

In the next 10yrs, she intends to further her studies and become a professional in a position to change the field of aquaculture and assisting others in her community attain their goals.
