GLADYS GUMATO LESIRITE

Gladys joined the scholarship program in September 2023 as a first-year student at the Kenya Medical Training College, Nakuru Campus where she is undertaking a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science. She is currently in her second year and is expected to complete her studies in March 2026 and graduate later in the year.

Gladys was born in Kurirkuri Laikipia North Sub County and currently lives in Endana village in Segera ward, Laikipia County. She lives with her parents and four siblings. Growing up, she often assisted with herding livestock and carrying out house chores.

Gladys is passionate about participation in mentorship programs for peers and younger persons to for improved personal development. create a better version of myself and set a pace

In ten years, she aims to advance in her studies to master’s degree level and a career which will sets a pace for young women in my community.
