FRIDAH NAFULA WAMUKOTA

Fridah joined the scholarship program in September 2022 in her second year at the Presbyterian University of East Africa where she is undertaking a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Development) She is currently in her third year and is expected to complete her studies in April 2025 and graduate later in the year.

Fridah, who is a second born in a family of four girls was born in Bungoma County but is currently living with her mother in Nturukuma Village in Umande ward, Laikipia East Sub-County in Laikipia County. Growing up, Friday assisted her mother carry our household chores – cleaning the house, washing and tending to her younger sisters. She is passionate about theater (acting) and teaching young children.

In the coming ten years, Fridah sees herself as a professional educator, managing my own primary school.
