I am Elijah Larpei, a beneficiary of the DMLF. I am currently in my fourth, and final, year of study at Laikipia University pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and Statistics. As I complete my attachment, which is the final requirement before my impending graduation at the end of the year, I would like to appreciate the David Mahungu Leadership Foundation for supporting my education and allowing me to achieve my dreams.
The foundation has played a big part in my life. Without it, I would not have I would not have pursued my education at Laikipia University. DMLF has made my university life smooth by catering for my tuition and upkeep, allowing me to afford all the material I needed to study and the personal items I needed during the four-year period. With the foundation’s help, I was able to focus on my education and take advantage of opportunities to network, learn, and engage with students from other colleges and universities through symposiums, other educational trips, and leadership conferences organised by the DMLF.
The DMLF is a revolutionary organization that is doing a great job in shaping the lives of the less fortunate in society. By funding our university education, the DMLF is giving students like me back the power to redefine our future and uplift our families and communities through education. Let’s join hands to keep the DMLF running and delivering to the vulnerable.
LIVE LONG THE DAVID MAHUNGU LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS.
